Focaccia
Gluten Free Focaccia
Ingredients:
2 cups gluten free all purpose flour
1 packer (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil (for topping)
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, and 1 tbsp olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
4. Preheat oven to 400F.
5. Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet and spread it out with your fingers.
6. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp olive oil with rosemary, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
7. Brush he herb oil blend over the dough.
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
